USA Network Renews 'Playing House'

The hit comedy series on USA Network (shockingly) it has been MIA since June 17 (the season finale). Until...NOW. So it was a HUGE to surprise of the news to fans like myself of it's renewal announcment  yesterday Dec. 11. The series-- excutive producers, writers and stars Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham is an off-beat comedy about two childhood best friends rising a baby together after Jessica (Emma) give up her busy career in the big city to help her best friend Maggie (Lennon Parham) raise her unborn baby after her husband leaves her.

USA is doing something a bit different since so many people have access to VOD.
"Viewers each week to watch the following week's episode on Video-On-Demand before it airs on USA. The network will prominently promote the on-demand episodes, driving viewers to watch in the early window. This new approach is designed to offer select advertisers premium placement across millions of multiplatform connected homes, and engage the highly passionate community of PLAYING HOUSE fans across VOD and TV Everywhere platforms."
The series will return in the second half of 2015, for only 8 episodes from season one's 10 episode order.

Check out what the ladies reaction to the news:
