The Night Shift Back Returns For Second Season



The Night Shift will be returning to NBC on February 23 at 10e/9c on NBC. The hospital drama will however, be minus one character Danielle Alonzo (Dr Landry De La Cruz) will not be coming back due to "creative shift" of the shows second season.  The show will start to focus more on ER patients and how you can sympathize with them. It is a large cast. So they need to change the focus--pace themselves more with the stories.

The series is set in San Antonio Memorial hospital, it follows the men and women that make up the night shift and stars Jill Flint (The Good Wife), Eoin Macken (Merlin), Freddy Rodriguez (Six Feet Under) and Brendan Fehr (Roswell).

So far, guest stars will be Adam Rodriguez (Ugly Betty), Scott Wolf (Party Of Five, Perception) and Merle Dandridge (Sons Of Anarchy).
