Mark Paul Gosselaar Sitcom Order on NBC and Two Others

NBC Orders Mark-Paul Gosselaar Sitcom and 2 More for 2015-2016 Season
People Are Talking is new multi-camera comedy. It stars (Franklin and Bash, Saved By The Bell's) Mark-Paul Gosselaar. It also stars Syfy's 'Being Human) Meaghan Rath, (Bad Judge) Tone Bell and Bresha Webb (TV One's 'Love That Girl') People Are Talking centers on two diverse couples that live next door to each other and who are best friends.

In addition, NBC has ordered the multi-camera family sitcom Crowded starring Patrick Warburton (Rules of Engagement), iCarly's Miranda Cosgrove and Carrie Preston, who won an Emmy for The Good Wife. The multi-generational comedy is about a couple whose two adult daughters move back home.

The third new sitcom for NBC next season is Superstore, a single-camera workplace comedy starring Ugly Betty's America Ferrera and A to Z's Ben Feldman set at a giant megastore.

The shows joins three new dramas NBC ordered earlier this month: Chicago MedHeartbreaker and Blindspot. The network also has several other previously announced new shows for next season including Eva Longoria's sitcom Telenovela.

NBC has shied away from multi-camera shows in recent years, opting instead for comedies like Bad Judge,Marry MeA to Z and About a Boy. However, one of the network's few sitcoms to get a second season recently has Undateable, another multi-cam show.

NBC will announce its full 2015-16 lineup/schedule on Sun. May 10 to kick off the Upfront presentations from the five major networks.
